This was the beginning. It was my very first video and in a way it pushed my into the deep end of Video Production so-to-speak. I learned about the rule of thirds and how to focus on my subject even while he was walking. It was also the first time I used premiere where I even toyed around with slow motion effects and lighting. This class wasted no time in developing your skills as a videographer. All the tools you need arethere for you, you just have to go dive in head first!

This video was very exciting for me. Not only did I learn about multiple camera angles, but I finally got to tell a story. This was one of my main goals coming into this class. This story of heartbreak makes for great storytelling, and once again another opportunity to paly around with premiere. This time including text within a shot, and adding meaningful music to support the story being told.

My first project where I had to roll solo. It was a new challenging experience but also very interesting. I love looking and trying to interpret old uses of media and video. This was no exception. This video focused solely on your abilities in premiere. This including putting multiple clips on a screen at once, mixing audios, and playing a video back and forth.

This was just a fun one to shoot. My partner, Kyle Sager, and I wanted to break away from our serious video pattern and do something ridiculous. The goal of this video was to explore different transitions in video. Yet our goal was to tell a story of the guy who treats girls badly, but is still somehow loved. It was an amazing opportunity and a great experience to shoot.

Probably the most meaningful video on my roster so far. This was documentary on one of my very good friends Matt Johnson. Being able to express our gratitude for him in a video that included B-roll just made it all the more sweeter. If anything it is proof that somewhere out there, there is evidence thatI was able to be a part of someone's life that you just know is going to accomplish great things.

A bit more challenging here. Mainly due to the fact that we had to memorize our own lines. I was still extremely excited though. For this video we got to create our own script and have it written in the format of an actual screenplay. That part of the project meant a lot to me as a writer, and shined light on exactly how much it takes to make a full-length meaningful film. It was nice to see this finished product even though I just wish I had more time.

Love love love love love this one. Not only was it a delight to shoot, but it's main focus was music! Music is very important to me, and I was able to experience it in a fun and quirky way. Green screen was not unfamiliar to me, but using it again was abreath of fresh air. Especially since I was able to include one of my all time favorite shows into the mix of this "raw" story. Not only did we get to piece this together very smoothly by adding wheels to our tri-pod, but we also got to pick any song we wanted to pick for once. This was a great way to end the year in a strong and creative way.

Well, this one was, in lamest terms, interesting. It was honestly a trainwreck to make and it isn't even fully compelted. the idea was to make a stop motion film tackling a serious issue in the form of a PSA(Public Service Annoucement). We were going to have this box travel to different locations, and each location it was going to get more and more used, but at the end the box would open and the word "beauty" would come out of it. The message was: No matter where you've been and how hard you've fought, everyone has a story, and we're all beautiful inside.
