Walking into Video Production, I didn't fully know what to expect my style to be. I knew that I was heavily interested in this field, with respect geared towards the likes of Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, and Christopher Nolan. Among those directors are some of my favorite movies including The Grand Budapest Hotel, Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2, and Inception. Each of these styles are so unique but I feel what puts them together is the ability to develop an intricate story with many characters thrown into the mix. All these characters, besides a choice few, mean something to the film. Everybody contributes in a special, meaningful way. That is the way I like to approach my videos. I like to include pieces and people that, at first glance may seem silly, but overall have meaning if you delve deeper into the subject at hand. A video is all about a story, and a story could relate to almost anything, and can make us feel anything. With video included, it envelops us into another world visually. To have our senses be so intact and stimulated is a beautiful thing, and even though I am jsut beginning, this is what I would like to think my style is and can aspire to be.
